Beginning from the establishment of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University on August 2, 1994, it is now over 28 years. Compared to life expectancy, we are entering the working age. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has developed, improved, and accumulated knowledge, abilities, and expertise for over 28 years. I am an alumnus of this institute. After my graduation, I have started working as a Teaching Staff in 2003. This enables me to see many changes in this Faculty over the past 24 years.
I am confident that our academic staff and the supporting staff are equipped with well knowledge, skill, and ability to support, promote, develop, and drive the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Chiang Mai University to thrive further.
As I have been appointed as the 5th Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine since it was established, I will do my best to apply my knowledge, competences, experiences and networks to drive the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University and keep it moving forward steadily. This institute will be a pillar in developing and producing veterinary graduates with knowledgeable, competent, and good citizens in society, including being a pillar in providing animal health care services in Chiang Mai and nearby provinces communities and a pillar to develop and create a new body of knowledge for the academic society.
I would like to thank other partners and stakeholders both from inside and outside CMU for their continually great contribution to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Chiang Mai University and we look forward to their continued support. Most important, I would like to express my sincere admiration to all staff for the untiring dedication and hard work to assist and drive the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University to thrive since the establishment of the Faculty until today.
